EEX: New Trading Participants On Integrated Spot- And Derivatives Market

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) has admitted two new participants on the integrated Spot- and Derivatives Market for electricity. El Paso Merchant Energy Ltd., London, is admitted to trade on the Spot-and Derivatives Market. Westdeutsche Landesbank, Cologne, is a new participants for electricity trading in the spot market.

With the admission of El Paso and Westdeutsche Landesbank, 53 companies from seven countries are now trading on the integrated spot and derivatives market and ten banks are offering clearing services.
