EEX Broadens Its Range Of Information Products - Leipzig-based Energy Exchange Expands Business Segment – Analyses And Graphics For All Markets – Content And Design Are The Result Of A Pan-European survey

By the introduction of new information products on July 4, the European Energy Exchange (EEX) AG further enlarges its business segment in-formation services. The previous offering of continental Europe´s largest energy ex-change will be newly designed and broadened by data, analyses and graphics on vol-ume and price development.

By this step, the Leipzig-based EEX takes the increased demand on information from the market in account, as design and content of the new information products have been shaped basing on a pan-European survey and a comprehensive inquiry of the re-quirements at which about 200 companies took part.

Beginning on July 4, EEX offers the following information products:

• FTP Server: all trading data in electronic form
• EEX Report: daily presentation of the price development by tables, graphics and analysis in pdf format
• SMS Service: energy trading data as well as information on EU Allowances tra-ding; dispatch of the Spot Market data will be brought forward to 1230 CET.

Additionally, there will be further products launched in the future inter alia presenting historic and current exchange data on market depth of energy futures as well as on im-plicit volatility.
