EDP Renováveis To List On NYSE Euronext As Largest European IPO Year-To-Date - Company’s Stock To Commence Trading On Euronext Lisbon On June 4 - NYSE Euronext Is The World Listings Leader In Alternative Energy Sector

Portuguese EDP Renováveis , S.A. , the renewable energy subsidiary of Energias de Portugal (EDP) and one of the world's largest and fastest growing wind energy companies, today celebrated the successful completion of its global IPO and listing on NYSE Euronext Lisbon. To celebrate this special occasion, Antonio Mexia, EDP Chief Executive Officer, and Ana Maria Fernandes, EDPR Chief Executive Officer, will ring today’s NYSE Closing Bell remotely from Lisbon .


EDPR will commence trading on NYSE Euronext’s Lisbon  market under the ticker symbol “EDPR” following its successful spin-off from EDP Group (NYSE Euronext: EDP), which remains listed on NYSE Euronext Lisbon. The EDPR IPO raised a total of €1.566 billion/$2.42 billion in global proceeds.
