- Representatives of DFM Company and 12 other DFM-listed companies to take part in road show
- Road show aimed at communicating investment opportunities in DFM-listed companies
Dubai Financial Market (DFM) announced today that it will hold a road show in May in London to attract additional foreign institutional investment in the DFM.
As part of the road show, DFM will organise a two-day conference on May 22nd and 23rd, 2007, during which representatives of DFM Company and 12 other companies listed on the DFM will meet managers of international funds. Only those DFM-listed companies that are most active and allow foreign share ownership will take part in the road show.
Essa Kazim, Chairman of DFM, said: “The conference comes in line with DFM’s plans to hold several similar conferences across the world. This road show will help to build relations with managers of international funds, who will have an opportunity to identify prospects and opportunities for investing in DFM-listed companies. “
On the first day of the conference, DFM will present the market’s achievements, trading mechanisms, settlement platforms, indexes and systems. Representatives of the 13 other listed companies will also provide an overview of their activities and financial performance.
On the second day, representatives of DFM Company and the other listed companies will hold one-to-one meetings with managers of international funds, who will have an opportunity to identify prospects and opportunities for investing in DFM-listed companies.
Companies that will take part in the conference are Emaar Properties, Dubai Islamic Bank, Amlak Finance, SHUAA Capital, Dubai Investment Company, Arabtec Holding, Emirate Integrated Telecommunication Company, Tamweel, Tabreed, Aramex, Salam International Investment and Union Properties.
