Dubai Financial Market Postpones Pre-Opening Session - Technical Breakdown In Main Telecommunications Cable In World Trade Centre Area

Dubai Financial Market announces the postponement of its pre-opening session for today, Thursday December 28, 2006 due to a technical breakdown in Etisalat's main telecommunications cable for the World Trade Center area. This technical breakdown will not enable brokerage houses with offices outside Dubai Financial Market to enter the trading system. Kindly be advised that DFM is constantly following the situation with Etisalat. Etisalat has informed DFM that it is currently undertaking the necessary measures to fix the problem. DFM will announce a new time for the pre-opening session as soon as Etisalat has been able to fix the main cable problem.
