ProphetX is DTN's professional real-time market data display and analysis product. The overall package combines DTN's powerful price display and charting software with the company's proprietary feed of real-time market data, news and weather.
The launch of this initiative marks the achievement of a major strategic objective, following its listing on the AIM market, for CMS to position itself as a key contender in the European financial market information sector.
In the first phase, CMS's primary focus will be upon clients in the financial and commodity futures and options markets.
ProphetX is currently used by over 5,000 customers in the USA and was developed by Financial Information Management Inc. (FIMI) - an established trading software company wholly owned by DTN.
The addition of a high specification end-user product such as ProphetX acts as a perfect complement to CMS's current portfolio of retail and wholesale real-time data products.
