Reuters reported today that former Euronext CEO Dominique Cerutti, in an emailed message to the company's employees, a copy of which was seen by Reuters, that his early depature was in the best interests of Euronext to ensure its stability.
Euronext N.V. announced on Tuesday 5 May that it had decided to accelerate its transition plan following the announcement by Dominique Cerutti of his resignation on 22 April, and that it was appointing Jos Dijsselhof as interim Chief Executive Officer of Euronext N.V. with immediate effect, pending relevant regulatory approvals.
As a result of this decision, the Board and Dominique Cerutti have jointly decided for Dominique Cerutti to leave the company immediately.
The emailed message to the company's employees, seen by Reuters. said "It was important to put in place as soon as possible managers who represent Euronext's future."
