Dominion Finance Holdings Limited has been listed on the NZX's equity board (NZSX) since July 2004 and the capital notes issue is an illustration of the broad opportunities that NZX Listed Issuers have to raise additional funds in the public market.
“It is pleasing to see that Dominion Finance is taking advantage of the benefits of being a publicly listed company. They had a very successful equity listing in 2004 and now are using other functions of the market, the NZDX market, as currency to fund their growth” said Geoff Brown, NZX Head of Products.
The principal purpose of this issue is to provide funding assistance to DFH's acquisition of North South Finance Limited. The purchase is an extension of the current business operations of DFH's wholly owned subsidiary Dominion Finance Group Limited.
This debt listing brings the total raised on the NZDX to $856 million and is the sixth new debt raising since the start of the year.
