Please be advised that as part of the Direct Edge integration to BATS Technology, BATS EDGA Exchange (EDGA) and EDGX Exchange (EDGX) are scheduled to commence the FIX-format trade submission to the NSCC production environment on Monday, January 12, 2015. As a result of the conversion, Members should note that some UTC-trade-capture output fields may be populated differently due to differences between the UTC FIX-format and the legacy-format inputs.
Testing Opportunities
In order to provide NSCC Members with opportunities to assess possible output differences, the DTCC will process EDGA and EDGX NY5 certification environment test volume in the DTCC PSE (test) environment. To this end, EDGA and EDGX will submit Members’ trades on the day of testing, and DTCC will produce customary UTC output. This testing opportunity is in addition to the DTCC’s previously announced processing of the November 15 and December 13, 2014 EDGA and EDGX weekend test volumes.
NSCC Members are encouraged to submit trades to the EDGA and EDGX NY5 certification environments in order to identify possible UTC output changes and to ascertain a seamless transition to the new technology.
