Direct Edge® is pleased to announce two new enhancements to EdgeRisk Controls® for EDGA ExchangeSM (EDGA®) and EDGX ExchangeSM (EDGX®). EdgeRisk Controls is a free tool that provides Members with pre- and post-trade protection by allowing them to configure real-time, intraday risk control parameters via an easy-to-use web interface. EdgeRisk Controls now offers the following features:
- Net Notional Value Check – Set up a new aggregate risk check for Net Notional Value. This new risk check calculates net dollar volume executed for each symbol. Then the absolute value of exposure for each symbol is summed.
- Email Alerts for Aggregate Credit Checks – Receive email notifications when any of the aggregated order checks approach a specified percentage of the threshold set and when thresholds have been breached.
Members already using EdgeRisk Controls can access these new features and set configurations with their existing accounts. Members interested in using EdgeRisk Controls can get started by completing and submitting an addendum to their user agreement.
