Direct Edge® will relocate its back-up Disaster Recovery Facilities from Clifton, NJ to Chicago, IL for both EDGA Exchange (EDGA®) and EDGX Exchange (EDGX®). The build out is expected to be completed and operational in the fourth quarter of 2013.
New Facility in Chicago
The new back-up Disaster Recovery facility for EDGA and EDGX will be located at Equinix’s Chicago 4 (CH4) International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data center. This move will enhance Direct Edge’s business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities by providing geographic diversity in the event of a disruption that impacts its primary facility at the Equinix NY4 Data Center in Secaucus, New Jersey.
