Direct Edge To Observe A Moment Of Silence At 10:29 a.m., ET On Friday, September 9, 2011

Overview:
Direct Edge will observe a moment of silence at 10:29 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, September 9, 2011, in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001, attacks and their families. 

Impact:
There will be no impact on trading. Both EDGA and EDGX exchanges will continue normal operations throughout the day on Friday, September 9^th. 

Action Required:
Direct Edge members are invited to participate in the moment of silence at their own discretion. Trading will not be halted on either EDGA or EDGX exchanges.    

Timing:
The moment of silence will occur from 10:29 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., ET on Friday, September 9, 2011.
