Diane M. Sigalos Joins Chicago Mercantile Exchange As Director, Compensation And Benefits

Diane M. Sigalos has joined Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) as its Director, Compensation and Benefits.

Sigalos oversees the strategic direction, development and day-to-day implementation of all compensation, health, welfare and retirement benefits for CME. Additionally, she is responsible for continuing to maintain a balance between benefits offered and benefit costs, as well as aligning the company's compensation strategy and its business objectives.

Before joining CME, Sigalos was an Executive Compensation Specialist with Hewitt Associates in Lincolnshire,Ill. At Hewitt, she specialized in advising boards on change-in-control severance, short- and long-term incentive plan design, executive employment contracts, IPO/spin-off implementation and design, mergers and acquisitions, Board of Director compensation, nonqualified retirement arrangements and total rewards strategies. She joined Hewitt in 1992.

Sigalos earned a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Northwestern University in 1987 and an MBA degree, with emphasis in finance and marketing, from the University of Chicago in 1992.
