Two full trading days after the result of the Barilla Group's takeover bid for Kamps has been announced, the shares of Kamps AG will be taken out of the MDAX if at least 95 percent of the shares vote in favor of the takeover. No change will be made as long as Barilla holds less than 95 percent of the Kamps shares.
As of the same date, but no later than July 25, the shares of Tecis Holding AG will be taken out of the MDAX. More than 95 percent of the company is now in the hands of AWD Holding, leaving less than five percent of its shares in free float, which is the minimum required to remain in the MDAX.
Leoni AG will take the first place to become free in the MDAX. Leoni is thus moving up from the SDAX into the MDAX. Leoni's place in the SDAX will be taken by the shares of Graphit Kropfmühl AG. The second possible opening in the MDAX would be filled by Drägerwerk AG, moving up into this index. The company has agreed to submit quarterly reports in the future, which is obligatory for inclusion in the index.
The next regularly scheduled review date on which Deutsche Börse decides on any changes to be made in the equity indexes is August 13.
