Deutsche Börse : Unscheduled Adjustment In MDAX - Free-Float Adjustment For Hypo Real Estate Holding AG As Of 12 May 2009

Deutsche Börse has announced an unscheduled adjustment to the free float of Hypo Real Estate Holding AG in the MDAX®. Following the expiry of the term of acceptance of the takeover bid for Hypo Real Estate Holding AG by the German federal government via the Financial Market Stabilization Fund, represented by the Financial Market Stabilization Agency, the free float of the MDAX member altered by more than 10 percent. The company’s free float and share capital will thus be adjusted accordingly. The free float will be reduced from the current 87.67 percent to 46.6 percent, the new number of shares will be 231.084.520.

The adjustment will be made next Tuesday, 12 May 2009.

The next regular review of the Deutsche Börse equity indices is scheduled for 4 June 2009.
