Effective 24 September, new index weights will apply for companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. Deutsche Börse released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. An update of the preliminary weighting will be published on Friday. The preliminary data can be downloaded from the Deutsche Börse website (www.deutsche-boerse.com). The final figures based on Friday’s Xetra closing prices will be published on the Deutsche Börse website on Saturday.
On Wednesday 5 September, Deutsche Börse has decided on changes in its equity indices MDAX®, SDAX® and TecDAX®, that will take effect on 24 September. Tognum will be included in MDAX and will replace Patrizia Immobilien.
The share of Patrizia Immobilien will move to SDAX replacing the share of DAB Bank. Wacker Construction will also be included in SDAX replacing Loewe.
In TecDAX the share of Versatel will be included, Jenoptic will be leaving the Index.
The next equity index review is scheduled for 5 December 2007.
Deutsche Börse has additionally reviewed its families for international indices and strategy indices. Changes in these indices are also effective on 24 September.
