Date 24/03/2004

In a joint effort with online banks and financial websites, Deutsche Börse is making its real-time trading data available to private investors, free of charge, between April 1 and May 31. Data will be accessible via the websites of the following partners: b.i.s börsen-informations-systeme (www.bis.de), comdirect bank (www.comdirect.de), Cortal Consors (www.consors.de), Finanztreff (www.finanztreff.de), OnVista (www.onvista.de). The scope of data available will vary according to each partner.

This service is aimed at private investors who, to date, do not draw on Deutsche Börse data in real time. As part of the trial service, investors will be able to access the following real-time trading data, free of charge: Xetra, including Exchange Traded Funds, Floor Frankfurt, Xetra US Stars, Xetra European Stars, Eurex, Eurex US, the Deutsche Börse indices, including DAX, MDAX, TecDAX and SDAX, and all STOXX indices. The following information is displayed for each security: best buy/offer and best sell/ offer, the next best buy and sell offers, each including volume, and the price and the volume of the last trade.

"Real-time Deutsche Börse trading data will give private investors a valuable insight into both the leading German and international markets and the present situation on the capital markets", said Christoph Lammersdorf, Managing Director of Deutsche Börse. "This will allow investors to make well-substantiated investment decisions, to react better to short-term trends and developments and to place their own orders accurately."
