After the end of the takeover bid from Deutsche Bahn AG to the shareholders of Stinnes AG, the Deutsche Bahn holds more than 95 percent of the shares in Stinnes. Stinnes thus no longer meets the prerequisites to remain in the MDAX. Therefore, Stinnes will be taken out of the MDAX as of Thursday, October 3. On the same day, Stinnes will be replaced by Hornbach Holding (preference shares), which is moving up into the MDAX, and Procon Multimedia will take the place of Hornbach Holding in the SDAX.
