Deutsche Börse is targeting the expanded services to those companies that prepare financial market information for their Internet or Intranet pages and make them available to end-users as graphics, statistics or analysis instruments. The exchange is thus promoting its image as an allround provider for financial data on the Internet. In addition to raw data from international financial and commodities markets, the company offers the corresponding technology and services to prepare the data. "With this expanded service, Deutsche Börse has now become a real provider of integral solutions. The customers have the entire spectrum from the provision of raw data all the way to the development of solutions for the preparation and dissemination of the data from a single source," said Christoph Lammersdorf, the Executive Board member responsible for the Information Products Division at Deutsche Börse.
The exchange's offerings in this division include, among others, analysis instruments like chart analysis and an index map for the graphical presentation of price and index trends on various stock markets. The Information Products Division also offers Xetra Live, an information screen that emulates the Xetra electronic trading system. Xetra Live provides a real-time display of the open order book in Xetra. Two further important analysis instruments are the warrants calculator and the PDA service: The warrants calculator supports investors in the professional analysis of the warrants market, the PDA service enables current price information and news to be transmitted to mobile devices with an Internet connection.
