Deutsche Börse Distributes Around 800 Million Euros To Shareholders In 2005 - Capital Management Program To Be Continued As Planned

Deutsche Börse will achieve its target to distribute around 800 million euros to its shareholders under the ongoing program to optimize the capital structure of the Group. The company made this announcement on Friday. At the same time the company announced it will continue repurchasing own shares in 2006 as part of this ongoing capital management program.

In May this year the company has announced its plan to distribute approximately 1.5 billion euros to its shareholders by May 2007. In the course of 2005, the company has repurchased 10.48 million shares valued at 713.62 million euros. In addition, in May 2005 the company paid a dividend of EUR 74.14 million euro
