In the MDAX index, MPC replaces Celanese. Celanese will leave the Prime Standard Segment and therefore does not meet the criteria for the index any more. In the small cap index SDAX, Matchnet and Centrotec will be included in the index replacing Hornbach Baumarkt and MPC, which will enter the MDAX index on June 21st. In the NEMAX 50 index, which Deutsche Börse will be calculating until the end of 2004, Sartorius and Solarworld will replace Augusta and Nordex.
The next review of the equity indices is scheduled for September 3, 2004. A decision will be based on the monthly index ranking as of end of August.
