€153.69 billion were attributable to Deutsche Börse Xetra (previous year: €183.83 billion / previous month: €202.76 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €7.68 billion (previous year: €9.19 billion / previous month: €9.22 billion). Trading volumes on Deutsche Börse Frankfurt were €4.31 billion (previous year: €4.57 billion / previous month: €5.72 billion).
By type of asset class, equities accounted in total for €119.78 billion. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €36.44 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.65 billion, in certificates €1.09 billion and in funds €0.04 billion.
The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in April was Siemens Energy AG with €9.22 billion. Deutsche Lufthansa AG led the MDAX with €1.06 billion, while Verbio SE led the SDAX index with €222.53 Mio million. In the ETF segment iShares Core EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF generated the largest volume with €2.21 billion.
