Deutsche Börse is lowering its prices for real-time share price information on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt for retail investors. Service providers such as brokers, data vendors and financial portals will receive current share price information from Börse Frankfurt free of charge starting 1 September 2017, with Xetra prices being lowered from €15.00 to €4.90 per month starting 1 January 2018. “Retail investors will directly benefit from the price cuts,” said Michael Krogmann, Managing Director of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. With its initiative, Deutsche Börse aims to support retail investors as best as possible in their investment decisions through the provision of information. The portal already offers real-time Börse Frankfurt share price data free of charge. Deutsche Börse also recently became the first stock exchange to make share prices available via Amazon's Alexa voice service.
