Deutsche Börse has published its Corporate Responsibility Report for 2011, presenting its initiatives over the last financial year. The company continues to focus its corporate responsibility on these four areas of activity: economy, employees, environment and community.
“We feel connected” is the theme of the latest CR Report. As part of its diverse stakeholder relationships, Deutsche Börse places great value in an open dialogue in which all parties are given a voice. This enables the company to understand and take account of different needs, allowing these to inform its commitment. The CR Report explains in detail which needs and wishes Deutsche Börse has encountered, and how the company has dealt with them.
As in the previous year, the report was prepared in accordance with the internationally recognised Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, and reached the second highest reporting level (GRI Level B+). In addition, the figures provided in the chapters “Employees”, “Environment” and “Community” and also the quantitative and qualitative statements in the chapter “Economy" were subject to an audit by KPMG with limited assurance. This guarantees international comparability and a transparent, reliable quality standard of sustainable reporting.
