Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €138.00 billion in June (previous year: €106.75 billion / previous month: €152.20 billion).
€134.63 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €103.49 billion / previous month: €148.66 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €6.41 billion (previous year: €5.17 billion / previous month: €7.08 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €3.38 billion (previous year: €3.25 billion / previous month: €3.54 billion).
By type of asset class, equities accounted for €114.47 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €21.94 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.71 billion, in certificates €0.85 billion and in funds €0.04 billion.
The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in June was Rheinmetall AG with €13.44 billion. RENK Group AG led the MDAX with €2.69 billion, while IONOS Group SE led the SDAX index with €174.81 million. In the ETF segment the iShares Core EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF (DE) generated the largest volume with €610.67 million.
