This year's German Equity Forum (Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum), Europe’s leading information and networking platform which is hosted by Deutsche Börse alongside KfW, will take place in Frankfurt from 23 to 25 November 2015. The focus of this year's forum is growth financing. Carsten Kengeter, CEO of Deutsche Börse AG, and Dr Ingrid Hengster, member of the board of KfW, on Monday will open the event for the first time at the Sheraton conference center at the Frankfurt airport.
The German Equity Forum is particularly aimed at companies looking for capital, share and bond issuers, institutional investors and analysts from the financial industry. The comprehensive programme offers panel discussions, interviews and workshops on current market developments in corporate financing. In addition, around 200 listed companies will present their results at investor and analyst conferences.
Day three of the event will be primarily dedicated to growth financing for non-listed companies. This “venture day” gives young and innovative companies the chance to present their business models to private equity and venture capital investors, enhance their capital market knowledge and make new contacts. Companies and investors from the Deutsche Börse Venture Network will also be attending the conference; Deutsche Börse launched this network in June of this year to help growth companies raise financing. Various forums and investor talks will be held on this subject.
