Deutsche Börse: Two New EasyETF Products Launched In XTF Segment On Xetra - First Non-Energy Commodity ETF Worldwide Traded On Xetra/ Expanded ETF Coverage Of Listed Real Estate Stocks

Date 10/02/2006

Deutsche Börse is further expanding its XTF segment for exchange-traded funds on the Xetra pan-European trading platform. On Friday, two new products were issued by EasyETF, the AXA Investment Managers and BNP Paribas exchange-traded fund partnership. The new ETFs enable increased exposure to both non-energy commodities and the listed Eurozone real estate sector.

The EasyETF EPRA Eurozone (ISIN: LU0192223062) allows retail and institutional investors to track the FTSE EPRA / NAREIT Eurozone index, a European reference for listed real estate investments. Using a single product, investors gain coverage of 37 Eurozone property stocks, using methodology from the European Public Real Estate Association and National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. Diversified coverage of the property asset class includes retail, office and residential investment. The EasyETF EPRA Eurozone has an annual management fee of 0.45 percent.

The second product, the EasyETF GSNE (ISIN: LU0230484932) focuses on non-energy commodities. Covering 18 commodities, exposure encompasses four non-energy sectors: agriculture, livestock, industrial metals and precious metals. The Goldman Sachs Non-Energy index (GSNE®) is a sub-index of the Goldman Sachs Commodities Index. This is the first exchange-traded fund worldwide based exclusively on the non-energy commodity asset class and compliments commodities exposure in Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment provided by the EasyETF GSCI product launched in May, 2005. The EasyETF GSNE has an annual management fee of 0.45 percent.

"The launch of these two products marks a clear contribution to the innovation and diversity of Deutsche Börse’s XTF segment, unparalleled as Europe’s strongest market for exchange-traded funds." said Rainer Riess, Deutsche Börse Managing Director and Head of Stock Market Business Development. "Broad investment opportunities enable investors to follow equity, fixed income and commodity indices, and gain exposure to sector, style and geographic investment on both emerging and developed markets."
