Deutsche Börse: Provisional Scenario Calculation For The Equity Indices - Changes In The Indices Take Effect On September 22 - Continental In The DAX Index As Of Monday

With effect from September 22, new weights will apply for the companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. The company released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. The final figures will be based on Friday's Xetra closing prices and published at the Deutsche Börse website (www.deutsche-boerse.com) on Saturday.

At the same time, Deutsche Börse called attention to the previously announced changes in the equity indices, which also go into effect on September 22.

Continental is moving up into the DAX® blue-chip index, taking the place of MLP. MLP and Comdirect Bank will be included in the MDAX®, replacing Teleplan International and Continental, which is now in the DAX®. In the SDAX®, IM International Media and Teleplan International will take the place of Mannheimer Holding and Comdirect Bank. Freenet, Teles and Süss Microtec are moving up into the TecDAX® index, replacing Plambeck Neue Energien, Medigene and Nordex.
