Deadline For Responses To The Consultation On CESR’s Advice On Possible Implementing Measures Of The Directive 2004/39/EC On Markets In Financial Instruments

CESR extends deadline for consultation on some mandates under MiFiD included in its consultative paper (Ref. CESR/04-261b) Following the requests expressed by a number of market participants during the public hearing held in Paris on 8 and 9 July, CESR has decided to extend to the 4th of October 2004 the deadline to comment the draft CESR technical advice on mandates concerning best-execution (mandate under Article 21 of MiFiD) and market transparency (section III.B of the consultative paper), on which CESR will have to finalise its technical advice by April 2005.
