The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) announced today that David L. Grove has been elected as Vice Chairman of the Exchange and of CHX Holdings, the 100% shareholder of CHX. Mr. Grove is the Chief Executive Officer of E*TRADE Capital Markets Execution Services. Mr. Grove has been a member of the Board of Directors of the CHX and CHX Holdings since April 2004 and February 2005, respectively.
Valerie Jarrett, Chairman of the CHX and CHX Holdings boards, said, "Dave has dutifully served the Board for several years and we are glad he is taking an even greater leadership role with the Exchange. The Board also thanks Russ Saletta, previous Vice Chairman, for his contributions to the Exchange. Russ was instrumental in developing and implementing several important recent strategic initiatives, which will help ensure the Exchange's competitive position in the evolving equities markets."
