The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that David Boone has recently joined the Marketing Department. He will hold the position of Business Development Manager for Equities.
In his new role, Boone will assist in business development for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange’s equity effort. He will be responsible for member connectivity and relating member benefits of PHLX XLE, the Exchange’s electronic equity trading platform, in a pre and post Reg NMS environment.
In addition, Boone will be responsible for managing and maintaining member firm relationships for North America.
Barry Nobel, PHLX’s vice president of marketing said he is excited about Boone joining the PHLX team. “His skills and past experience will greatly benefit the PHLX, “ said Nobel.
Boone has nearly 10 years experience in sales in the financial sector.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University.
