The opening ceremony of the futures training program of Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Dongbei University of Finance & Economics (DUFE) is held in Dalian on May 24. The training course, namely the “Training and Practice of Bulk Commodity”, will be included in the credit, showing that the knowledge on futures will enter the DUFE classes more systematically and deeply. A total of 154 students from all majors of the DUFE School of Finance take part in the training, and Wang Zhiqiang, President of the School of Finance, delivers the opening speech.
It is learnt that DCE has carried out 103 programs in cooperation with 69 universities, 8 local futures association and 51 futures companies. 90% of them have been included in the credit, and 6,700 students have participated in the training. This program has been well received and recognized by the participating universities and all market participants. It has set up a key platform for the supply of industry talents and the employment of graduates and achieved the all-win results for the exchange, futures companies, universities and employers. And the practical courses on futures have stimulated students’ interests in learning and applying futures.
