DCE’s online investment education platform, Futures Academy (qhxy.dce.com.cn), was officially launched on May 15, 2022. The website is positioned as a comprehensive one-stop e-learning platform focusing on the education towards futures traders. The platform covers futures knowledge popularization, information and policy announcement and risk reminder.
DCE has always attached great importance to the protection and education of traders. It initiated the online investment education platform project in 2021. Futures Academy, the investment education platform, is developed on the basis of DCE’s mature market brand - Futures College. Following comprehensive integration and update, Futures Academy is now composed of five main columns: News, Notice and Announcement, Learning Center, Investor Protection, and "Young" Derivatives Risk Management Competition (for College Students), as well as 10 secondary sections. The contents cover various video courses and supporting materials, as well as considerable amount of textual and graphic files. Moreover, it offers learning resources on various topics, such as basics of futures and derivatives, interpretation of DCE’s rules and regulations, case study of risk events and warning education, latest information of the Rural Income Guarantee Plan and the Enterprise Risk Management Project.
While offering tailor-made contents of investor education, DCE takes the initiative to respond to the needs of increasingly younger market participants and people who pay close attention to the futures market. First, DCE actively embraces technological innovation in the investment education practice and attaches great importance to the application of science and technology. It plans to introduce a number of advanced technologies including Virtual Reality (VR) in the future operation of the online platform, so as to effectively enhance the user experience. Second, by introducing the investor education mascot "Dayan" (literally means Derivatives of DCE), DCE creates real scenes and storylines for website users. There are also interactive games, cultural and creative products developed based on Dayan. By doing so, the platform reaches its target audience in a cordial and friendly manner, so as to create a virtuous cycle of "attracting target audience with good experience and increasing user stickiness with diversified contents".
In the future, DCE will commit to protect traders' rights and interests through supervision and service. It will also continue to enrich the contents and forms of investor education, further integrating online platforms including DCE’s official website, WeChat official account and the Futures Academy with offline platform. DCE aims to enhance the investors’ sense of gain, and contribute wisdom and strength to the development of a multi-level and diversified education system for futures traders.
