To simulate the successful listing and trading of the polypropylene (PP) futures product, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) has decided to conduct the networking tests of the trading system from 10:00 to 11:00 am on February 15 and 22. The member units are requested to arrange for the personnel for the trading system and the settlement system to participate in the tests.
The tests will retain the existing products and add the new PP product with the 2-letter code of “pp”, for which a total of 12 contracts have been set: PP1409, PP1410, PP1411, PP1412, PP1501, PP1502, PP1503, PP1504, PP1505, PP1506, PP1507 and PP1508. During the tests, the trading personnel of the member units should complete the testing work for all the functions such as logging in, opening, closing, whether the trading data are correct, response speed of placing an order, feedback speed for reporting a transaction, real-time quotes, placing a preparatory order and the fund changes. After the settlement at closing, DCE will send the settlement data on the member service testing system (see Attachment 2 for the specific website), and the settlement personnel of the member units are requested to check whether the settlement data are correct.
The member units are requested to earnestly and effectively complete the tasks of the backup and restoration of the production data and the clean-up of the application system logs before and after the tests.
After the tests, the member units are requested to fill out the online test feedback form on the production member service system.
The “Tested Contract and Detailed Rules” (Attachment 1), the “Contents and Schedule of the Tests” (Attachment 2) and the “Feedback Form of On-floor Tests” (Attachment 3) for the newly added PP product in the tests can be loaded from the section of the “Notice on Conducting Simulation Tests for the Trading System of the Polypropylene Futures Product” in the column of “Exchange Notices” on the home page of the DCE website (www.dce.com.cn).
