With the prosperous development of futures innovation business and the continuous emerging of new business modes like swap and over-the-counter derivatives in recent years, the innovation and breakthrough in futures business have raised new topics and challenges for relevant financial staffs. In this context, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and the China Capital Market Institute (CCMI) jointly organize the “Commodity Innovation Business and Futures Accounting Training” in the CCMI on September 26-27. Attending the training are financial chiefs of enterprises and relevant business chiefs of futures companies and futures risk management subsidiaries.
From the perspective of accounting practice, this training has explained the difficulties and pain points in futures accounting practice in an easy-to-understand approach through specific cases. The methods are of great practicability and operability, and the training covers the mode and practice of futures innovation business serving the real economy, the futures accounting practice, the interpretation on corporate accounting rules, and the compliance auditing of corporate hedging business.
This training has allowed enterprises to re-recognize the functions of the futures market and solved the issues on hedging rules and futures accounting business that have troubled enterprises for a long time, helping them to find out the effective ways and methods of handling specific futures accounting problems. The trainees suggest that more futures accounting trainings shall be held, so as to allow more financial personnel to learn more about the futures knowledge system and keep pace with the innovation development of corporate business.
