In 2015, with China’s economic development entering the New Normal and the financial market facing both new opportunities and challenges, DCE has deepened learning and implementation of the requirements of the central government and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jin Ping’s important speeches. In accordance with the requirements of China Securities Regulatory Commission and the National Work Conference on the Regulation of Securities and Futures, we have adhered to the regulatory transformation. Focusing on facilitating the development of the real economy, on the basis of firmly maintaining the safe and stable operation of the market, we have actively made efforts in preparation for the listing of agricultural options, the internationalization of iron ore futures, the construction of OTC market and other work. We have explored new models of serving the industries and steadily transformed and developed DCE into a comprehensive derivatives exchange featuring diversity and openness.
As China will start the decisive stage of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-around way and the implementation of the “13th Five-Year Plan” in 2016, new requirements have been made for the reform and development of the futures market. DCE will always strictly adhere to the fundamental orientation towards serving the real economy, and make efforts in maintaining stability, strengthening management, and promoting transformation. We will ensure the safe and steady operation of the market, take the reform and innovation in management as the driving force, make breakthroughs in the pilot of agricultural options, the internationalization of the iron ore futures, and the construction of the OTC market, strive to achieve the transformation and development of DCE, and make more contributions in supporting the structural economic reform and the economic and social development.
