On November 8, Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) and Bursa Malaysia Derivatives (BMD) signed an agreement on further cooperation in Guangzhou, as the two sides agreed to continue to jointly organize the China International Oils and Oilseeds Conference (CIOC) in the next three years so as to make concerted efforts to push forward the development of the oils and oilseeds futures market in the world.
In April 2006, DCE and BMD signed a cooperation memorandum of understanding(MOU), and the two sides vowed to cooperate in product development, exchange of information, training and education and other aspects, in a bid to improve their influence in the international oils and oilseeds futures markets and the related industries. Jointly organizing the CIOC was an important cooperation under the framework of the MOU after which the two sides renewed the agreement on jointly organizing the conference twice in 2010 and 2013 respectively, and inked the agreement on further deepening the cooperation in products in November 2015.
