Daiwa Asset Management Launches iFreeETF Gold plus Income, Tracking The Solactive Gold Plus 7–10Y US Treasury Stacked Index

Date 04/09/2026

Daiwa Asset Management Co., Ltd. has launched iFreeETF Gold plus Income, tracking the Solactive Gold Plus 7–10Y US Treasury Stacked Index. The ETF provides investors with exposure to a strategy combining intermediate-maturity U.S. Treasuries and gold futures within a single index.

U.S. Treasuries and gold can play complementary roles across different market environments. U.S. Treasuries provide fixed-income exposure and are sensitive to changes in interest rates, while gold prices are influenced by factors including inflation expectations, currency movements, geopolitical developments, and investor demand during periods of uncertainty. Combining the two asset classes represents a differentiated approach to portfolio construction across changing economic conditions.

The Solactive Gold Plus 7–10Y US Treasury Stacked Index, denominated in U.S. dollars, combines two underlying index components: the Solactive US 7–10 Year Treasury Bond Index (Total Return) and the Solactive Future Series 5-Day Roll Gold Excess Return USD Index. The index is designed to track, on a combined basis, 100% of the daily performance of each underlying component, bringing together exposure to intermediate-maturity U.S. Treasuries and gold futures within a single rules-based benchmark.

The ETF listed on 4 September 2026 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange with the ticker “626A”.

Timo Pfeiffer, Chief Markets Officer at Solactive, commented: "We are very pleased to continue our collaboration with Daiwa Asset Management on this latest launch. By combining exposure to U.S. Treasuries and gold within a single rules-based index, the strategy offers investors access to two asset classes with distinct market characteristics. We are delighted to support Daiwa Asset Management in further expanding its range of innovative investment products for Japanese investors."

Yuji Mori, Executive Managing Director, Head of Product Division at Daiwa Asset Management Co. Ltd. commented: “We have long been committed to expanding our ETF product lineup to provide investors with efficient access to global investment opportunities. This ETF combines exposure to two asset classes widely used by investors worldwide, gold and U.S. Treasuries, in a single product. As the market environment continues to evolve, investors are increasingly seeking a broader range of investment approaches. We believe this ETF will serve as a valuable option to help address those evolving needs.”
