Tourism sector 155,81 Trading sector 41,26 Building Materials and Construction sector 62,13, Information Technology 17,11, Financial Services 32,52, Fish Culture 44,19, Hotels with 109,89, and finally the Other Companies sector with 207,03 points.
Market Capitalization
The total market capitalisation (shares) reached £5.033 billion from £5.960 billion the previous month registering a decrease of 15,54%. According to this month results the Banking sector accounted for 31,56% of the total market capitalisation, the Other Companies sector 14,98%, and the Tourism sector 5,12%. The Trading sector 4,52%, the Manufacturing sector 6,43%, the Approved Investment Companies sector 6,99%, the Insurance sector 0,96%, the Building and Materials and Construction sector 3,81%, the Information Technology sector 3,36%, the Financial Services sector 11,02%, the Fish Culture sector 0,57%, and finally Hotels sector with 10,69% respectively, of the total market capitalisation. Moreover the total market capitalisation including the Corporate and Government bonds decrease to £6.556 billion compared to £7.424 billion at the previous month registering a decrease of 11,69%.
Transactions
The total value of transactions during the month in review reached £258 million with an average of £11,7 million per trading session. The Other Companies Sector contributed 30,82% of the total value traded, which was the highest, whereas the Corporate Bonds had the lowest contribution with 0.01%. Investors primarily focused their interest on the shares of "Renos Hatzioannou Farm Ltd" and "L.K.Globalsoft.Com Ltd" with 12,94% and 6,42% respectively.
