CVB Financial Corp. To Join Nasdaq Financial-100 Index Beginning July 25, 2001

CVB Financial Corp. (Nasdaq:CVBF) of Ontario, California, will become a component of the Nasdaq Financial-100 Index®, effective at the beginning of trading Wednesday, July 25, 2001. CVB Financial Corp. will replace National Commerce Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:NCBC), which is de-listing from The Nasdaq Stock MarketSM.

With a market capitalization of $503 million, CVB Financial Corp. is the parent company of Citizens Business Bank, headquartered in Southern California's Inland Empire region. The company specializes in serving business and professional clientele with 30 offices in 23 cities.
