CubeLogic Achieve SOC 2® Accreditation - SOC 2 And ISO 27001 Approved Meaning That CubeLogic’s Clients Have The Highest Confidence In Entrusting The Firm With The Protection Of Their Sensitive Data In The Cloud

Date 09/10/2019

CubeLogic, the market leading provider of business intelligence enabled risk management solutions for the energy, commodities and financial markets today announced completion of The Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type II audit certification. This important accreditation confirmed the effectiveness of the firm’s internal controls for compliance and data protection.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), which issues the SOC 2 attestation is now widely recognized as the industry de facto standard for assurance on a service organization’s controls relevant to security, availability, and processing integrity of all systems related to information technology.

CubeLogic voluntarily elected to be examined to provide their clients, including; energy, commodity, insurance and financial institutions with the most comprehensive view possible of the security of its internal processes, ultimately providing peace of mind in ensuring their data is securely managed.

The project was managed by Vishwajeet Sharma who is based in the company’s Bangalore office. Chris Cantle, CTO comments, “This is a great achievement for the team and testament to all of the hard work and diligence when operating our business. Security of data is non-negotiable and the potential reputational risk of a breach can destroy a business overnight. We work with the world’s largest energy and commodity firms and so providing this official mark of approval is a huge benefit.”

The completion of this audit extends CubeLogic’s commitment to meeting the highest standards of information security, having earlier this year received ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification (known as ISO 27001), which validates the effectiveness of the firm’s security operation related to risk management, development, HR, third-party risk and other areas. They will now look at achieving ISO9001:2015 QMS processes in the coming months.
