Credit Suisse, And CIA-Funded Palantir Joins The Dots Setting Up Signac To Target Rogue Traders

Date 23/03/2016

Credit Suisse has announced the launch of a joint venture with Palantir, taking a technology-led, innovative approach towards compliance and operational risk after the success the bank has had in improving its investment bank compliance working closely with Palantir.

Palantir Technologies is an artificial intelligence company backed by the CIA.

The 50-50 joint venture, called Signac, will initially focus on detecting unauthorized trading. Signac will be led by Credit Suisse's head of compliance in the Americas, Colleen Graham, and Sean Hunter, Forward Deployed Engineer, Palantir. Sean Hunter was a panellist on the "Proof and Trust: Judging Market Behaviour" panel at Mondo Visione's 2015 Exchange Forum.
