On the morning of October 16, the 20th CPC National Congress was grandly opened. General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a report on behalf of the 19th CPC Central Committee. According to the overall plan of the CPC CSRC Committee, the CPC SZSE Committee, which planned in advance and acted quickly, organized the leading body, Party members and cadres of SZSE to watch the live broadcast of the National Congress. On the afternoon, the CPC SZSE Committee successively held the meeting of the central group for theoretical study of the CPC SZSE Committee and the forum of the representatives of Party members and the masses, to study and discuss General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report in the fastest manner possible.
All the attendees agreed that the 20th CPC National Congress is a very important conference at the critical moment when all the Party members and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups are taking on a new journey toward building a modern socialist country in all respects and marching toward the Second Centenary Goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects. General Secretary Xi Jinping’s report is profound, features a broad vision, upholds fundamental principles, breaks new ground, and builds on past achievements and strives for new progress. The report has scientifically laid out the goals and tasks and the major principles and policies on the development of the cause of the Party and the country for the next five years and even a longer term, further pointing out the direction of the cause of the Party and the country. It is the political declaration and program of action of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new journey of the new era. It is of great significance to encouraging and mobilizing all Party members and the Chinese people of all ethnic groups to uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, build a modern socialist country in all respects, and advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts. The Party members and cadres across SZSE were inspired.
It is agreed that the decade of the new era is extraordinary, during which China has secured historic achievements and seen historic changes in the cause of the Party and the country. The fundamental reason lies in General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position on the CPC Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and also lies in Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the scientific guide. The establishment of both Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is the most important political achievement since the 18th CPC National Congress. We should acquire a deep understanding of the decisive significance of the establishment of both Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and boost our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment with the central Party leadership. The CPC SZSE Committee required the Party organizations at all levels and Party members and cadres across SZSE to take the study, publicity and implementation of the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress as the top political task. SZSE will study them continuously, repeatedly and in depth and have a good understanding of the new thoughts, new strategies and new measures put forward in the report of the 20th CPC National Congress. We will have a deep understanding of the rich connotation and essential requirements of the Chinese path to modernization and align our thinking and action with the guiding principles of 20th CPC National Congress. We will fully implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and uphold and strengthen the Party’s overall leadership of the exchange’s work. We will earnestly carry out the tasks in the deepening of the reform of the capital market, continue to improve market functions, focus on serving the real economy, and actively support technological innovation. We will stay confident and build strength, uphold fundamental principles and break new ground, and forge ahead with enterprise and fortitude. We will strive to build a quality innovation capital center and world-class exchange, firmly follow the development path toward a modern exchange with Chinese characteristics, and actively contribute our bit to build a modern socialist country in all respects and advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts.
