Corporate Sustainability Index - BOVESPA's ISE Board Starts Public Hearing On Questionnaire To Evaluate Companies - Consultation Period To End On June 17 - New Portfolio Will Be Released On December 1st

BOVESPA started a Public Hearing for the draft questionnaire that will be fulfilled by listed companies aiming at assessing the new portfolio of the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE). The Public Hearing will gather comments and suggestions until June 17 and its intention is to encourage market participants and the society in general to get involved in discussions of the Brazilian index of companies committed to sustainability. The electronic file and a tool for inserting and visualizing comments and suggestions of the Public Hearing are available at www.isebovespa.fgvsp.br/sugestoes

The questionnaire is the first step to elect the shares that will comprise the fourth ISE's portfolio, which will be rebalanced on December 1st.The Sustainability Studies Center (GVCES) and BOVESPA's Sustainability Index Board will appraise contributions to the questionnaire, which will addressed to the companies issuing the 150 most liquid shares traded at BOVESPA. From the respondent listed companies, at most 40 companies will join ISE according to the assessment of the requirements demanded.
