B3’s Extraordinary General Meeting of May 10, 2017 approved the corporate name of BM&FBOVESPA S.A. – Bolsa de Valores, Mercadorias e Futuros being changed to B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão.
On May 15, 2017, we formally submitted a request to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) to approve this new corporate name, which shall become effective only after approval by this regulatory body.
We shall inform our corporate constituencies of CVM’s resolution in this regard.
Please note that the activities exercised and services provided by B3 remain unchanged. Furthermore, there have been no changes to date to the names of B3’s clearinghouses, central depository and registration systems, or to the official letters and regulations that govern B3’s operations. The current names used therein shall thus be maintained, including the use of terms other than B3.
