Copenhagen Stock Exchange - Unparalleled Interest In Share Trading In February

For the first time ever the share trading of one month touched above the DKK 60 billion mark on the equity market, 3 per cent higher than the record set in November 2004 of DKK 58.4 billion. The accounting season, which by tradition brings with it increased interest in share trading, helped boost the turnover.

In February, the value of average daily trading reached more than DKK 3 billion, which is also unparalleled. This is 13 per cent higher than the value of average daily trading in November 2004 of DKK 2.7 billion.
