The equity market was also influenced by the summer season, and the value of trading totalled just under DKK 29.8 billion, a fall of 14 per cent compared with June. In July, the trading volume decreased to 135,246 share transactions, down from 146,819 transactions in June.
In July, bond trading amounted to some DKK 507 billion, a 26 per cent rise on July 2002.
In July, the activity on the derivatives market was handsome with a total of 74,480 contracts traded, up from 55,394 contracts in the month of June.
