Copenhagen Stock Exchange Today Admits cBrain A/S To Listing

Date 24/02/2006

The Copenhagen Stock Exchange today welcomes a new company - cBrain A/S.

cBrain is a software company that develops process based business software built on software components. The company’s solutions comprise process-based document management among other things.

cBrain which was established in 2002 has 15 employees today. In 2005, the company reported a turnover of just under DKK 9 million and earnings (EBIT) of DKK 1 million.

cBrain is the first company to carry out a listing on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange via the Internet. On February 9, cBrain opened the subscription for shares on the company’s website using Dankort (credit card) as payment method, and in response to a considerable demand, the company closed the subscription for shares on the first day of offering since all new shares had been subscribed for after just two hours.

Per Tejs Knudsen CEO in cBrain said: ”We consider ourselves pioneers by having found an inexpensive and efficient way to become listed on the stock market, and we are naturally very happy about the considerable interest that the investors have shown cBrain from the start. We believe that other companies may be able to use the same method, which could strengthen the Danish entrepreneurial environment.”

Jan Ovesen, Deputy President of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange commented: ”It is always exiting to welcome a new company. cBrain has explored a new route to the stock market, and it will be interesting to follow the development of the company. cBrain is unlikely to be an obvious choice for large investors, and this means that the company will be very dependent on the ability to win the interest of private investors.”

The number of companies listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange now totals 177, of which 11 are in the IT sector to which cBrain belongs.
