The KFX Index closed the day at 329.52 - 59.2 per cent higher than the corresponding day last year and 7.6 per cent over a month. The previous high of 327.71 was reached on 15 August 2000.
The KFMX Index - consisting of medium-sized and small companies - closed at a record 1228.99.
