Copenhagen Stock Exchange: Successful Launch Of The Exchange's Broadcasting Studio. Chr. Hansen Holding, DSV And 2M Invest Broadcast From The Studio Today

Date 23/05/2002

The first broadcast from the studio at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, where NeuroSearch presented its accounts for the first quarter of the year, got record-breaking viewer ratings compared with previous 'on location' broadcasts - just under 1,200 viewers within the first 24 hours. Thus, we have demonstrated that our broadcasting studio reaches more investors than the conventional teleconferences, which the companies have been using up to now.

The new opportunities to quickly and efficiently reach private as well as institutional investors in Denmark and abroad enable the companies listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange to attract more attention.

Commenting, Senior Vice President Peter Belling says: "We have registered a rise of more than 60 per cent in viewer ratings compared with the previous record, which was reached when Group 4 Falck announced the acquisition of Wackenhut. Fortunately, firewalls hardly constitute an obstacle anymore, and the technological advances such as broadband networks, etc will bring the broadcasts to even more people and in the long term also to mobile platforms."

"The companies have expressed great interest in our new broadcasting studio. This afternoon, Chr. Hansen Holding is giving a presentation and at 17:00 the sound from the DSV teleconference will be broadcast from here in continuation of the publication of their accounts for the first quarter of the year. At approx. 18:00 2M Invest will give a presentation via the broadcasting studio. We have made the Copenhagen Stock Exchange marketplace even more attractive to the listed companies, since they as local companies will be exposed to the major global investors, Peter Belling concludes.

We are in a competitive position where everybody fights to attract the major global investors and especially their capital. The new technology is exploited strategically by the Copenhagen Stock Exchange as well as the listed companies, as it provides easy access to important communication between the listed companies and the investors without geographic barriers. Thus the Danish share investment culture will have more and improved conditions of growth.
